The worst feeling that a person could get is feeling alone
even though he or she is surrounded by people all around. It’s as if you are at
rock bottom vexing at the fact that you have no one and no body to talk to.
People around you contented and cheerful and here you are in the corner of the
room alone, unaccompanied and the very least dismal.
So setting that feeling aside. Where do we get those feeling
of aloneness, that emo feature that can be found in every person around you
because truth be told you are not alone in reality. There are plenty of people
like you that has that feeling, some of them are just too good at hiding the
fact that you are indeed the same. Instead of being sad and lonely moping
around in the corner of the room. Some of these people use masks, to cover up
their feelings of sadness and bitterness.
It's just that, they are actually doing something about it. Yes,
It’s not easy, It’s actually quite hard, tedious, arduous and troublesome. But
it’s better to do something about it instead of just feeling that cloak of
darkness eat you up. You don’t have to Kick it to the curve all at once, you
could do it little by little until you realize that it’s gone.
From break-ups, Work, Enemies, Hearsays and even Rejection.
It’s inevitable that a person would not be able to feel this over and over
because we are living and there are always two sides in a coin. If you want to
be happy chances are you will also go through sadness. If you want to be
successful chances are also that you will go through some tough failures that
you just have to learn from.
So what can you do? What little steps should you take? Who
do you talk to?
You won’t be able to find all the answers at once. But
believe me you will find them. So stop. Stop feeling sad. I’m here to help you
get over that dark feeling because like I said earlier. You are not alone. I
was there. I have felt that and God help me, I will not let anyone feel that
darkness again. I’ll help as much as I can but you also need to work on it
yourself. This is a two-way road. Like that quote from Jerry Maguire “help me,
Help you”.
First thing to do is quite easy actually: JUST CHOOSE
HAPPINESS.
Choose to be happy. Go out there and try to smile. Research
proves that smiling could help you get over sadness. So go. Smile in front of
the mirror. Stop crying over things that will just bury you in more sadness. Go
smile. You look better when you smile. You look amazing when you smile. Also
chances are with that good looking face of yours added that matching smile,
People around you wouldn’t feel awkward and they might actually try and
approach you instead of you approaching them.
A smile can go a long way. So
choose to smile. Choose to meet people, kick that sadness away and choose to be
happy. Make a conscious choice to choose happiness. If you intend to be happy,
then you will be happy. It all stars
with a simple choice and you control that decision.
Second is. Counteract negative feeling with positive thoughts.
I won’t lie to you but there is always and will be a high
chance that you will have negative thoughts you can’t stop that it’s part of
life. It may come anytime and anywhere and it may surprise you. What you need
to do if a negative thought appears is to counteract it with a happy one.
If you feel depressed because your ex left you. Go and think about the positive things
that could happen now that your single. You could meet another person better
than the last one! If you feel sad because you failed a test, be happy at the
fact that you learned something from a failure and that because of that you are
smarter now than before. There will always be a silver lining and there will
always be something to counter a negative thought. Those answers are inside
you. You just have to look for them. No one will help you but yourself. You are
the only person that could help you get
over these dark feelings.
It will be hard at first. It always is. But there will
always be something that could help you. The world is large and there are
plenty of things you could do to become happy. Go meet people, don’t be scared
of rejection. Everybody has also felt that feeling. Go do activities that will
help you forget about your sadness, play basketball, online games, football,
consoles. Like I told you. The world will always provide. But it won’t tell you
where to get it. You need to ask first and you need to look for it yourself
because no one could help you but yourself.
