Marvel movies for me has a reputation of creating fun, family, enjoyable movies that anybody with a tub of popcorn could enjoy. From Ironman, Captain America to the Avengers it's clear that the franchise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is always going for that wholesome, family engaging story that though is not too deep has still it's charms like the Guardians of the Galaxy before.

Anyway suffice to say, it has taken years to arrive to this but it's clear that the Cinematic universe of Marvel is ready to take up more serious matters that the society in the real world has.

Black Panther is a movie that relates to the past while being engaged also in the future. The film starts in the 90's and continues to the present showing the past actions and decision of the king of Wakanda and it's effect to the present time. I don't really want to divulge any spoilers but let's just say that the decision of the king largely affects the whole events happening in the movie and the life of our hero the black panther himself T'challa played by  Chadwick Boseman who by the way gave an amazing performance playing the part.

I could say that Black Panther continues what Civil war, Winter Soldier and Thor: ragnarok is doing. From the pace of the movie and how the story was handled I could say that for about half of the movie it is even barely a super hero movie. It focuses on the characters so much , in a good way, that you feel the emotional effects that the movie or the director and the writers wanted you to feel for the characters.

Though there are plenty of Marvel Movie Signatures here and there like pitting the hero against a stronger character where through a series of events he eventually learns how to beat that character, like iron in iron man. There is still something in this movie that makes it unique and special. Maybe it's the story itself or the pacing but everything in this movie was perfectly executed. The actors giving amazing performances, the Amazing CGI, The amazing story. This movie in one word is amazing.

Yes there are times where the story and it's pace would be slowed down, but when an action scene comes up and happens, it's downright amazing maybe even Kickass. Like a particular scene in Korea, it's like watching James Bond, while in a Marvel Movie.

Marvel Movie villains are somewhat of a joke or at least some are given that impression. There's a reason why they keep making Loki comeback to the cinematic universe , it's because he is for me the only villain that holds up to a state of being a good antagonist against our heroes. NO other villain has returned or had that same level of villainy like Loki did in the Marvel Universe. Here in Black Panther the villains are downright amazing, I remember seeing Ulysses Klaue for the first time in this movie played by Andy Serkis and he gave me the damn chills and Erik Killmonger played by Michael B. Jordan who equally gave an amazing performance as a villain like Andy Serkis. You can say that Black Panther's greatest assets in this movie is the villains themselves. They're a game changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Director Ryan Coogler, the talented casts and the team that created this Marvel Movie all in all for me created an amazing experience to movie goers that not just provides an amazing story, CGI but also lets the Viewers be engaged and think about the message of the movie even after it has ended.

So all in all I give this movie... a 9 out of 10.

Wakanda Forever.
